@thing installed using the rosenthal image (one of the links on guix.moe), that has nonguix + other stuff, but know there is an issue with nonguix's substitute server not working at all with ipv4 and just getting stuck, so make sure to blackhole it (basically add this to your /etc/hosts: 0.0.0.0 substitutes.nonguix.org (guix moe's substitutes is synced with nonguix so it basically, substitutes it (extra parentheses for no reason!)))
