@illyBytes y'know... I understood using v8 in the early days of node, because making an engine likw that is kinda impossible for small teams and at the time a lot of people thought that google was pinnacle of software dev, but like come on, that boat has sailed in a long time, so now I don't get why they keep using it for that long (I know it is hard to do it, but ffs node has 16 years already, if they kept iterating on a project like that for that many years they would have an engine already)
