Soooo, say I wanted to bounce off Arch to something more stable. My default choice is Debian but, does anyone have any other recommendations?

I hear Debian's package versions get a bit silly with how old they get. I can install stuff manually, it's not a huge deal, but it would be potentially nice to avoid it

@socks i'd say maybe experiment with a ublue distro like aurora/bazzite, they are inherit the fedora release cycle and kind of shield you from stupidity that happens upstream + it has many utils included and helpful scripts built in :3
