me being pissy about xmpp communities the XMPP community, as portrayed by all the largest rooms listed on jabber.network, is full of a bunch of idiots that think a Code of Conduct is censorship. All the while they do not do shit about someone that all in one message was racist, transphobic and ableist. Probably because that's also "censorship".

They're basically just thinly veiled 4chan.

re: me being pissy about xmpp communities @kit matrix is a bit different because the large directories that exist (i.e the room directories on the largest servers) don't actively promote this shit

meanwhile popular XMPP clients promote jabber.network, which in turn promotes these large rooms full of snowflake babies that feel their freedom is being hindered by not being allowed to say slurs.
