subposting about a previous thing that happened, fwupd lol@illyBytes this laptop stopped getting bios updates 8-9 years ago and is already updated, I'm not sure what fwupd was trying to update here. maybe something related to secureboot. either way the way fwupd can just make your computer unusable until you fix it makes me uncomfortable in actually using it
