I did, in fact, make a short PoC/Demo of "drop apps into ~/Applications and they get integrated"

it's messy and doesn't account for edge-cases, it doesn't have an internal state to clean up behind itself either, but it gets the idea across

@illyBytes I don't actually impose any structure! the unpacked app just needs to have a .desktop file for metadata and that's it, "AppRun" is just recommended so it's easier for me to match+replace the Exec= line
