I really despise the 🔞 emoji. It’s supposed to represent 18+ only it think, but it comes across as children only in my opinion. Such a horrible design.
Also no matter what 🔞 is supposed to be, it’s very US centric. What about cultures that disagree about the age of consent? It would not surprise me if some places have the age of consent/adulthood as 16 or 21 or maybe even 13?
(P.S. I’m not interested in arguing about morality here. This isn’t about who’s right, it’s about how cultural differences do exist in this world.)
