is ARM Windows something people actually use for real or is it just a myth

cause ARM MacOS is just the standard, ARM Linux is pretty doable, but ARM Windows? That thing basically does not exist from what I've seen

like why are companies selling ARM computers with Windows preinstalled? is there really an ecosystem there to be targetted? do they at least have some sort of graceful migration like rosetta?

@nelson they have copilot+ ai (used to be arm-exclusive, dunno if that's changed), what else do you need on a computer /j

@nelson it's not artificial, as far as i understand it's something about qualcomm being the only non-apple manufacturer that could handle the required amount of unified memory? like, that ai needs more vram than most laptop gpus have.

@nelson @ww i think i remember the shitty ai image generator in the new paint (non 3d) app uses the built in mpu (I am NOT calling them npus they are literally matrix math PUs)
