it genuinely would be less work to make my own editor than it would to iron out all of emacs' endearing idiosyncrasies. why does it leave little files ending in ~ or surrounded by #? I'm certain i could figure out, but i'm too busy trying to figure out how to change how big a tab is

@tavi nano does that while youre editing too but nobody notices because most people dont have nano and filemanager open at the same time x3
