it genuinely would be less work to make my own editor than it would to iron out all of emacs' endearing idiosyncrasies. why does it leave little files ending in ~ or surrounded by #? I'm certain i could figure out, but i'm too busy trying to figure out how to change how big a tab is
@tavi base emacs like some stuff like gnome is left as a canvas to paint painting is hard 😠try using an emacs distro that has all the stuff figured out lol
